A little note from Mr. Grant
To the students of Grant's Martial Arts!
Right now the excitement at Grant's Martial Arts is at an all time high! Over the past two years we have made a bold effort to establish Self-defense and fighting skills as our primary focus and I must say we have had great success! I would like to thank all of the students, black belts and instructors who have made this a reality. We are all training and teaching in a really cool place!
While self-defense and fighting skills have moved up to the front of the line where they should be, there has really been nothing left behind. As a matter of fact there are now more oppurtunities then ever to excell in your favorite areas!
Here are some things I am really proud of:
We now have specialized kickboxing class!
We now have more sparring classes then ever!
We now have more weapons classes then ever!
We are adding 2 new forms classes in May '08!
We have had 3 free seminars already in 2008!
August and John have been representing us well on the karate circuit, at one point John won first place in fighting in 8 karate tournaments in a row. Both August and John have won a grand championship in weapons in the past Year!
Kris Lindsey has won 2 USKA Kickboxing Championships!
Bianca Morton is the first student ever to be promoted to 2nd degree black belt at Grant's Martial Arts!
The bottom line is that you, the students of Grant's Martial Arts, have more oppurtunities to be successful then ever before! Take Advantage!
